Mark Macauley fundraiser

Hi, my name is Christopher and I have decided to make this fundraiser to help my dad and our family in a desperate time of need.

In early 2012 my dad was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. This unfortunately got worse over the years and he was forced out of his job from over 35 years there.

My dad is one of the funniest people i know and a role model in my life, if there has ever been in issues in our family he would make sure everyone remained calm and in the end, just make us laugh.

In 2018 our family received the worst possible news.

My dad had been diagnosed with terminal prostate cancer which had been spread throughout his whole body into his spine and upwards.

This was a massive shock to all of us as he was already being torn apart by the Parkinson's and life was already not good for him.

It did not stop there as later down the line my dad found out that his pension from his job that was his only way of getting income was stolen by someone who he thought was a genuine person to invest it with.
We are trying to get this money back but as of now there is no sign.

As of now, last week my parents have been told that they need to leave the house that they have lived in for nearly 10 years and have no place to go at the minute due to the high deposits and lack of money we have.

His current life spam left according to doctors is 2 months, which means he has been given to the end of September.

I don't really know how to put into words how we feel or how to deal with what's going on, but i think the most important thing he tell us to do, it just.. laugh. like he does.

Despite regular and sustained support from our family it is necessary to ask others to assist in helping us in this situation

Due to current circumstances we have not been able to go anywhere or have any final memories due to covid-19, But with restrictions opening up again there is a chance of us hopefully being able to create memories for and with him.

As it is such a short space of time it is very hard to get the money together for it which is why I have chose to make this fundraiser.

So please, if anyone can help us, at all it is very much appreciated.
