Heimer Funeral Relief Fund

The Heimer family could use your help during this difficult time. While they are struggling to process this very tragic loss you can help by removing the financial burden that has been placed on them. I hope we can all pull together as a community and bless them with what we can. The following was written by Joni about her mom and I thought you all should read it:

John 14:1-4 “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I went to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you there myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way to where I am going.”

We are devastated. We are lost. And we are blind from all of our tears. This troubled road lies long ahead of us. Thank you, to each and every one of you, from the very bottoms of our hearts, for all of the love, support, comfort, and prayers. We need them. We need them desperately. Thank you, for walking this road with us. All of your support helps give us strength when strength feels impossible.

Mom was selfishly, senselessly, and violently taken from us. We do not understand. We are angry. We are broken. We have so, so many unanswered questions. But we find comfort in knowing that her pain and suffering on this earth is over. She is with Jesus. She is so happy and at peace right now. And we will for always have her with us, in our hearts and watching over us. We can't even begin to understand how someone could do this to Mom. But we will continue to have faith in God and in His will. And we will fight to the very end for justice. The person who committed this heinous crime is out there. And they will pay.

My mom was a beautiful person. Inside and out. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, friend.. She loved everyone she knew and didn't know an enemy. She was always the first to help someone. She was always a listening ear. I want her to be remembered for the person she was. For the size of her heart. For her smile, and her laugh.

Thank you, again, from the very bottoms of our hearts. We are broken, but we will come out stronger than ever. For Mom.
