Help Rid Bernadette Of Her Pain!

Hey everyone! We need your help. This is Bernadette, she was adopted yesterday after being at the animal shelter for almost 4 months! These pics show her evolution from a sad dog to a happy dog in a loving home: The picture on the left shows Bernadette a day prior to being adopted (little did she know what was coming!) The other picture is post adoption! We knew she had a limp (back right) leg (as she only walks on 3) when adopting her, but we weren't sure if it was on its way to healing or not. However, after a trip to the vet this morning, we were told that her back right leg is causing her LOADS of pain! To relieve her pain, Bernadette needs a procedure called "Femoral Head Ostectomy." Due to a severe fracture, her femur is no longer connected to her hip at all, and has no circulation whatsoever reaching her leg. She was crying today of pain. The surgery is pricey at $2500 and this is where we need YOU! The vet believes she can be fully healed after the surgery and much needed physical therapy. These dogs endure unthinkable circumstances before reaching the shelters and being welcomed into loving homes. Bernadette deserves a pain free, happy life! Please help her be able to walk on 4 legs again!
