We are raising funds to support KaWDA Katanya Women's Development Association and its education mission, a mission that is especially important for girls and young woman in Freetown, many of whom are at risk of FGC, child marriage and other harmful traditional practices. We are seeking support now because we have an opportunity to make a huge difference. With a modest investment, we can create economic opportunity for hundreds of girls and young women in Freetown, giving them vocational and life skills that help them to be self reliant and less vulnerable to FGC, prostitution and early marriage. We can also provide educational materials and basic food for the younger students who depend upon Ann Marie Caulker's school. Please join us to create change across the globe.
If we are able to raise more than $5,000 the monies will be used for Ann Marie to attend a human rights training in Senegal in March 2017.
