On February 17, 2021 my aunt and cousin were heading home from work when a man driving a tow truck going over the speed limit in the freezing snow struck the rear end of truck cause it to flip multiple times to the opposite side of the road . The man hit the truck so hard that gas tank busted open an caught fire from the sparks of the truck rolling on the cold ground. She was trapped and so was her son in a burning truck. People stopped to help get them out but could only save her. She watch her son burn to death and take his last breath. The man that hit her left quickly after striking the truck . My aunt Melissa Carter has been through a lot. She has been on dialysis and had a kidney transplant from her older son Mike. She is now at Vanderbilt with 3rd degree burns to the side of her face and 3rd and 5th degree burns to her arm. She is stable at the moment but needs help laying her son to rest. Maxwell was her youngest son and her world. He was only 21 when his life was taken from him. We are asking from the bottom of our hearts to help her during this difficult time of her pain of watching her own child burn and take his last breath in front of her. We ask for prayers for her health and also the family as we try to gather up things to get our family member to rest peacefully. The Walker ,Carter  ,and the Howard’s family want to thank all that stopped by to help out when they saw the crash.
