Hearing Aids for Irene!

My grandmother, Irene, is a beautiful, healthy, feisty 93 year old Polish woman who wants nothing more than to hear.  She was fortunate to get hearing aids through the Starkey Foundation Hear Now Program  approximately 8 years ago but it is time for an upgrade.  She gets so frustrated often saying "I just want to take these out and step on them!"  They've been fixed and cleaned numerous times.  Unfortunately, the local provider that participated in the Hear Now Program 8 years ago  no longer does and the application process alone is daunting to say the least.  I am starting this GoFund me initiative to help her have enough money to get herself a new set of hearing aids.  Her hearing loss not only impacts her but also her large family and friends. Communication is key to everyday life and is part of our nature, when she cannot hear what people are saying she often misinterprets the meaning which leaves her feeling frustrated and sad.  Help us help her be able to hear for the remainder of her years here with us!  God Bless you for taking the time to read this.
