Beloved Bar B family,
A new year begins and if we are still here it’s because of the support of every single one of our customers. It’s with deepest appreciation that we keep our doors open and look forward for what’s ahead.
This has been one intense ride:
During the summer it was actually fun to put some tables together with a hodgepodge of stools and chairs. You kept coming and kept us open.
We tried to brighten it up:
And that worked for a while. But then it rained...
But that didn't stop you! With that true New York spirit you pushed through and kept supporting us.
We will never forget that. And now we think you will like this:
We’re raising funds to build an outdoor dining setup. We have a budget and our contractors lined up and with just a little of your support we will be able to provide some shelter from the 7th Avenue wind tunnel.
Well maybe not something so alien... we have enough of that to go around... but something more normal?
An outdoor that will also be useful throughout Spring time. We will adorn it with Toshi's unique design and complete it with Japanese style Kotatsu heaters for the winter
Let’s make this happen together. And we’ll be back to serving you the delicious Tapas, some wine al fresco and who knows whatever "Special" we create. All this in time for Bar B’s birthday in April. With our new outdoor dining setup, we’ll be able to bounce back from Covid and ride the vaccine wave to position Bar B to serve you for years to come.
