Im currently safe and have a place to stay temporarily. Also I started working part time but Ive been really sick lately and had to take time off work & it doesn't really pay that much being that its part time. I did however take a Covid Test & it came back Negative ✨, so thats awesome news. Hoping this cold/fever blows over so I can get back to my job.  Hi everyone, my name is Zelayna Black & I am a 22 year old disabled, black, trans woman seeking immediate housing and assistance escaping an abusive household. To start: I am currently in the hospital suffering from a 2nd degree burn on my left arm. Earlier today around 3 am, my grandmother & I had got into a heated argument because she has been being verbally antagonizing and abusing me & I decided to stand my ground which made things have a turn for the worse. She decided to take the grease I was cooking with off the stove and tell me I wasnt eating & that she was sick of me & that its time for me to go. So in return I spilled the food she made for herself on the floor and she then threw boiling hot grease on my arm. I then knocked the pot out her hands and we began fighting and yelling. She then tried to clean everything up (which I have a video of) & she didnt even show and remorse or try to call the police. It was honestly as if she was trying to remove evidence of what just took place basically. So instead I decided to call the police being that I was burned badly and knew I would need medical attention. Prior to all this for months she has been antagonizing me and threatening to kick me and my cat (Nyko) out, & she has been very verbally abusive and narcissistic. The only reason I started living w/ her was because I couldn’t afford where I was previously and as we all know a pandemic started back in march of last year. Ive been actively trying to work on my financial situation despite what she has been telling our entire family and she has done nothing to help me find a better living situation. All she has done is make my time living w/ her insufferable and very much unpleasant. I am a 22 year old disabled black trans person living in a pandemic, wtf am I supposed to. Of course I tolerated the way I was treated for so long, thats what you do when you have no where else to go. My grandmother is currently detained & I am soon to be discharged from the hospital. I DO NOT FEEL SAFE, & I NEVER HAVE AT THAT HOME. If yall could please share this or help out in any way that would be greatly appreciated.
