A Home, Finally
Spende geschützt
In November of last year, I moved back to southeast Oklahoma to care for my parents while they battled COVID. We’ve been staying in temporary lodging, scattered across my parents’ property; with me & the 2 youngest kids living in a partially insulated shed with 2 lofts, the 15 year old in an old camper trailer, & my two oldest sons sharing the 2nd bedroom in my parents’ house.
My parents are recovered enough that, though they still need help around the property, they don’t have to have us there for constant care; so we can consider moving to a more permanent living situation nearby.
Someone has offered to let me buy an acre with an existing, insulated structure for a cash price of $10,000. We could have it livable for a couple thousand & fix it up from there...but can’t get a loan. So close, but sooo far.
When I posted about my situation, my twitter followers suggested I crowdfund to make it happen. So, here it is...your chance to help my little family have a permanent home for the first time since I had to give Wasband the house in the divorce, a decade ago.
It would be wonderful to have my family under one roof again & also to not be constantly ill due to being allergic to my parents’ dog.
