For You Haiti is a non for Profit Organisation that is run purely off volunteers to serve, love and support the poorest people of Haiti, in particular the forgotten Island of La Gonâve which is considered to be the poorest island in the world.
This May 2018, I will be joining 8 other people to visit La Gonâve and take part in a volunteer project run by FYI where we will be build a playground for 190 school kids at the school. Currently the only play item the kids have is one colourful parachute which is used just once a week on Fridays.
Most of these students don’t have a bed or an adequate home. It's hard to wrap my brain around, so I’m fortunate to go and see first hand how the love and generosity of people really can make a difference.
100% of the funds raised will go towards building the playground, also towards The Water Project , then will supply as much food as possible through the Hungry Tummies Project .
I ask from the bottom of my heart to please help support me in my pledge to raise $1500 to go towards these projects. Anything you can spare, a little really does goes a long way in Haiti.
My birthday is May 10th, so perhaps instead of shouting me dinner you could gift it to these babies instead :)
