For all that know me well, will know most my volcabulary is based on animals, and for some of you that I have put to sleep in doing so, I am truly sorry for that, but it is my wiring and passion that is at fault and it is something I simply cannot turn off or change. From the moment I wake up, to the second I fall asleep, I no doubt have one of our rescues in my mind and questioning how I can improve here. How can I better their lives even more? How can I make a difference to more abused and neglected farm animals? So I am biting the bullet and hoping you can help me get there by raising the funds to study in order to become a veternairy nurse. I would like to apply for either the certificare II In Horse Care or the certificate II in animal studies intensive nursing pathway. Either courses will help me qualify to apply for the certificate IV in veterinary nursing.
The certificate in horse care is the cheaper option at $2,795, the other certificate is $3,648. I feel it would be highly beneficial for me to achieve this to avoid such costly bill's and each animal that comes to us will be able to have access to 24hr veternairy care. I know this a lot to ask but our funds are slim with everything else we are trying to achieve here.
My other half is also currently working on a cabana camper van that we have bought to turn into an animal float for easier transportation. We are looking at at least $4000 to be able to finish and time is of the essence as our next large rescue is not far away, and my car is well overdue for some tlc from the last one. Poop, wool, feathers and the occasional egg in the carpet is not a good combination and the heat likes to remind us how much.
Please help me to make a difference and to be that compassionate nurse you can turn to without judgment, who sees all animals as equal and wont turn away cases that are outside the normal textbook.
