Karen L. Lovely’s funeral and final expenses

Hi everyone, I’m raising money to help pay for my grandmothers funeral and final expenses. My beloved grandmother, Karen L Lovely, recently passed on December 31st, 2020, Karen was a wonderful Grandmother, mother, sister, and aunt, who touched the lives of those around her. She has been in declining health as of recently and has moved onto her forever home. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Don Lovely; daughter, Angela Jean Lovely; and brother, Frank A. Weir, II. Left to cherish Karen’s memory are her sons, Lyn (Mary) and Donald Lovely; grandchildren, Amanda, Donavyn, Stephanie and Monica; siblings, Charlene Weir, Theresa (Dan) Davis, Randy Weir, Carol Reid and John (Renee) Weir; nieces, Shannon Weir and Jessica Weir; nephews, Danny (Laura) Davis and Adam Weir; and many dear friends. Karen dedicated her life to her loved ones and books. She was a single mother who raised three kids while working nights at Washtenaw News Company for 35 years. She had to retire early to due kidney failure, for which she attended dialysis 3 times a week for the last 5 years. This fixed income resulted in her inability to prepare or save for these expenses. Karen was often found relaxing on the sofa reading her latest horror/mystery books. Reading was a love that she shared with her granddaughter, Stephanie. We are all devastated by the loss of my grandmother and were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service. We gave my Grandma Karen the memorial she deserved to honor her memory and say our last goodbyes. I am currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Karen’s funeral. We were able to afford some of this cost but due to her untimely passing, we can only pay for part of these expenses. We are asking for help raising the additional $5,000 to afford these final expenses to help cover the cost of her funeral and medical expenses.
