Carries Fight Against Covid-19 Pneumonia.

This is how 2021 started out for my family. January 4th my sister, Carrie Ripley, 21 years old, severely disabled went to the hospital by ambulance with a low Sp0² level. Within 45 minutes she was put on life support with chest tubes because her lungs collapsed, due to covid-19 pneumonia. My sister has fought a lot of battles through her life, starting at 16 days old having half of her brain removed due to seizure disorders (hemimegalencephaly.) She has had pneumonia 3 years ago and she powered her way through, but the doctors say this is unlike 3 years ago, because this is covid. We got a call this morning by the Critical Care doctor letting us know that he has never seen a patient as bad as my sister survive. They believe she has a very little chance to survive.. Carrie has pulled through more battles than most, but we haven't given up hope. I work at Charlotte Walmart, and after Christmas Eve I was told I tested positive for covid, so im still out on leave with no money coming in. My dad and mom are both disabled and struggling. As some of you may or may not know my mom, last January (2020) was on life support for a month because she coded during a routine procedure for breast cancer, she is unable to work, still suffering from an extreme lack of mobility as her life was taken away as she once knew it. As you have read, we are preparing ourselves for the worse, any financial support to ease my families burdens would be appreciated.
