The Caswell Family Fund

Sue Spicuzza, Mariluz Flanders, Rhonda Hanaway, and myself (Audra Harris) are setting up this Go Fund me page for the Caswell Family.  I am not sure that many people are aware of the situation the Caswell Family is in and that is why we are reaching out to friends and acquaintances through this GO FUND me page. The Caswell Family has had to overcome more in two years than most of us will in a lifetime. Kim was diagnosed with breast cancer in August of 2013. After close to a year of treatment her health looked to be in good standing, however in 2015 her cancer had metastasized to her lung and spine. Today, Kim has a tumor in her spine, her left hip, her lung, and they just recently found a spot in her right hip. She is now on her 5th chemotherapy drug and there is currently no cure for her disease. Kim suffers with immense pain and is on some pretty strong pain medications which leaves her unable to care for her children. Clay stopped working in the spring of 2015 in order to stay home and care for Kim and their children as you can imagine this has put them in a serious financial hardship. This Go Fund me page is being set up to help them with their medical and living expenses as what is provided by the state is very minimal and they have four beautiful children to care and provide for - Ryan (15), Brett (13), CJ (5), and Elena(4).

I know we live in an amazing community with so many people with big hearts that we can make a big difference in the Caswell Family’s life right now.
