Please help us keep our vehicle

My partner and I have been together for 29 years. After being forced to retire early about three years ago, my partner has sunk into deep depression, and things have been extremely tough financially. I didn’t know the extent of our problems until I found a letter stating that the loan for my partner’s vehicle has been accelerated due to nonpayment and that we need to pay $16,000 to keep it. Reading the letter, I went numb and thought I might pass out. I thank God that the vehicle has not been repossessed yet, as I use it to get to my two part-time jobs and to get to the grocery store and back home. I don’t know if it hasn’t been taken away yet because of the pandemic or what, but I know it’s only a matter of time until I’ll have to start taking the bus again, as unsafe as I’ll feel doing so during the pandemic, unless I can find a way to pay off the $16,000 balance on the loan. My paychecks barely cover our necessities, and I’ve taken on more and more debt, trying to pay all our bills. I’m in desperate need of financial assistance.
