What is Word Play ?
Word Play is Lyrical State of Mind bridging the gap of Poetry & Spoken Word between two communities within Florida & New York. It's a one of a kind event that gives the artists the opportunity to perform in each others state, creating a network of influence, comradery, and inspiration. The event takes place in New York's Legendary Nuyorican Poets Cafe Friday July 28th with a portion of the proceeds going to the Speak Out Foundation helping inner city youth voice their first amendment through Literacy, Poetry, & Spoken Word in South Florida. Word Play will be featuring Analogy, Byrd, Made S.O.N, Trell & QuickthePoet.
