Fiji -Tropical cyclone Yasa disaster relief

Donation protected
In the week leading up to Christmas, the small island nation of Fiji was devastated by a category 5 tropical cyclone. Certain areas of the country have been hit so severely that some small villages have seen up to 90 homes completely destroyed. Many are still without the basic needs of food, water and clothing. I have a very close friend who is working on the ground organizing and aiding with disaster relief by making food hampers, finding building supplies and clothing. Yesterday they were able to deliver their first batch of food hampers in the province of Bua in Vanua Levu including 15 widows in the small village, this part of the country was the worst hit as this is where Cyclone Yasa first made landfall. Though we are far away, borders are closed and shipping will take some time, I would like to do my part to help and I’m asking some of you, if you would please help me make a difference for the people of Fiji. I am fundraising money to send to the team there that will help them to purchase more necessities! I know it sounds cliche but when you are talking about things like food and water then truly every dollar does count. Thank you, much love and God bless
