Help needed to pay off past due medical bills

Hi there. Back in 2019, I was cut off of insurance due to moving after open enrollment closed. As a result, I was unable to obtain eligibility for Medicaid. I struggled with asthma at the time, and as a result, relied on the hospital and ambulance rides to treat it before I could see a doctor. Being uninsured, these medical bills ranged in the hundred dollars to thousands, which has now dropped my credit score to 550. To this day, I still receive bills from the ambulance and collections agencies. While the hospitals have paid a portion, they were not able to cover the full sum, and as a result, I’ve been left with a mess that is difficult to clean up. I am 23 and have never known what it is like to have a functioning credit score. While I work, I also have to provide for my chronically ill girlfriend and other important needs, which has lead to this being difficult to give money towards.
