Help My Daughter and Granddaughter

My daughter left her abusive husband last week. She went for an order of protection on Monday, but AZ made them snail mail it instead of accepting a fax. Pima County requires a mailed copy. That takes a day or two. Way to protect women and children Pima County. In the meantime, he filed a temporary custody order and the police took Kimmie from her mommy and gave her to him. Everyone was in tears. Christian is unstable. He is a danger to himself and others. He has guns. He has threatened to destroy everything my daughter owns. He has held my daughter so tight she couldn't breathe preventing her from leaving him. She had to organize with her mom in Ohio, her brother here in Illinois and us to escape from him while he was at work. That was over $1000 just for plane tickets her mom bought for her. When she got here he drained their bank account so she couldn't by Kimmie any food. She didn't leave him without any way to pay his bills. We told the officers about the order of protection and called the courthouse. There was nothing they could do at that moment. Mariah has to go to AZ now to fight this. No one has any money. I know that. We are doing what we can. My 83 yo parents are taking from their retirement, her mom is giving what she has and so are we. Her step sister offered to loan her new car for transportation track to AZ. She will be homeless when she gets to there. Some friends there are going to give her a place to stay.
