The day after Christmas Guadalupe Flores González went to be with the Lord. Exactly two weeks before his death he went to the hospital, the day after his partner did, due to COVID-19. He was doing very good and reassured everyone that he would be home in just a couple of days. Suddenly he was medically induced into a coma and transferred to a different hospital. His lungs slowly stopped working as they had to put a hole in his left lung, followed by his kidneys failing he had to be put on dialysis, and ultimately his heart decided to give up on him. After giving CPR and doing everything they could, he passed at 12:52 pm.

As people who knew him, he was was a very giving and generous man. He never hesitated to give or help out anyone in need and never asked for anything in return. He gave from his heart. He was a loving partner, father and grandpa and would do anything for his family.

We were not anticipating on his death being so sudden and we are not financially prepared. We are reaching out to all our friends, family and community to help out with some financial support as we do not want to leave this burden on his life long partner of 45 years, Catalina Garcia, who is in a very delicate stage as she battles both leukemia and COVID. All of the funds will be used for funeral expenses and to fulfill his wishes of being buried next to her.

If you can help with anything and we mean anything, every little bit helps. We would truly appreciate any amount given from the bottom of our hearts. May God bless you and repay you for every bit that you give. If you are unable to give we ask for your prayers or for you to share with the community. We thank you in advance for your contributions, thoughts and prayers.
