Donation protected
Gerardo Bruno Rangel Rojas Aka Gerry Aka Big G  was born on April 1st, 1981 he was called to be with the Lord on December 26th 2020.
Through all of these years he touched so many lives. He was such an amazing human with a heart made of gold. Anybody who was lucky enough to know him would tell you the same.
His family needs all the support right now as they experience this sudden unexpected loss of such and amazing person  . . They have not even finished mourning Gerry's older brother Victor' loss of life just 9 months ago now they're experiencing this tragedy.
Any donation to help with expenses would be very, very helpful and so greatly appreciated.
I would also like to please ask for lots of prayers for his family. We are all just crushed and definitely need the strength to get through this.
Thank you in advance for your help.

These kind words were written by his good friends..

Our hearts broke Saturday, December 26th and the world lost an incredibly amazing human being, Gerry Rangel.

Gerry, or “Big G” as he was often referred to, was the life of the party. Any party for that matter.
Gerry was the kindest, sweetest friend with an infectious personality that could light up a room. He had an enormous heart, always finding the positive in situations. This made it easy to adore him.

Everywhere he went, people knew and loved him. Many of us knew him for over two decades, but regardless of how long he knew you, or how long it had been since he last saw you, Gerry had a way of making you feel like no time had passed. You would soon find yourself laughing so hard that your stomach would hurt.

Because he was always “shining”, Gerry had the ability to bring people together. He was immensely passionate about improving his city and active in the community involving himself in organizations that he cared about in Long Beach. He tried to help those in need.

Gerry had recently started his journey to a Master’s Degree. He’d recently posted, “one semester down, five to go” on Facebook. He was excited to get through school and begin his work as a Behavioral therapist.

Gerry passed away from Covid on December, 26th at his parents home in Long Beach.  His family is devastated, his loved ones are broken.  We cannot believe he’s gone.  Gerry was a young life taken far too soon. He will be greatly missed. His family is still recovering from the recent death of their older brother. Their family has to mourn the loss of a second son.

The family is in need of financial support to be able to provide the funeral services that Gerry deserves.  As many of us know, funeral costs are expensive, especially when unexpected. Let’s come together as a community to support his family and give our brother Gerry, a proper burial. If you are able to, please donate. No amount is too small and all will be deeply appreciated.

This was posted with the permission of Gerry’s family and all of the money will be used for his funeral expenses.
