Help Kyle Beat Cancer

Donation protected
My "little" brother Kyle needs your help!

Kyle was diagnosed with Stage 4 Nodular Sclerosis Hodgkin Lymphoma on July 13, 2017. He struggled for almost six months with various symptoms before doctors were able to determine it was cancer. Lymphoma is a blood cancer that develops in the lymph nodes - Kyle's tests showed active cancer throughout his body and it metastasized into his bones. The doctors prescribed 6 months of chemotherapy treatment to hopefully rid Kyle of this cancer.

He has been undergoing treatment for 3 months now, and the doctors are optimistic about the progress and outcome. But, he has 3 more months of treatment, and while the chemotherapy ultimately is helping to treat the cancer, Kyle has felt the many side effects, including intense nausea, pain, fevers, sleep deprivation, fatigue and hair loss. The doctors have been actively working to help reduce these side effects, as well as searching for a solution to the still unclear cause of other negative reactions Kyle has had to the chemotherapy. But unfortunately, as the treatments have progressed, so have the effects which leave him incapacitated for days following each treatment.

As many of you know, Kyle is the proud owner of Ciabatta's Pizza in Malvern and has enjoyed serving delicious food to patrons for the past 6 years. For anyone that's worked in the restaurant business, it's a demanding, fast-paced environment, and as the owner and operator of the business, this requires Kyle to be in there actively spinning pies and serving up dishes 7 days a week. While family members have stepped in to help out where possible, there's only so much we can offer in Kyle's absence.

On top of disrupting Kyle's demanding work schedule, the effects of chemotherapy have impacted his ability to spend quality time with his family - his fiance Beth, their 6-year-old son Carter, and their 3 dogs, Icculus, Smokey and Max. As they say there's never a perfect time to have a baby, Kyle and Beth will be pushing that theory to its limits, as they recently found out they are expecting their second child in the beginning of March. We all hope and pray that Kyle will be fully cured of this terrible disease and ready to welcome their new child into a happy and healthy home.

As you can imagine, with Kyle's inability to work, medical bills piling up, supporting a family, and preparing for a new child, this has created a large financial burden. While Kyle has worked extremely hard to independently provide for his family through this very tough time, it is with great reluctance and gratitude that he accepts assistance. Those of you that know Kyle have likely witnessed or experienced the many gestures of kindness and compassion that go along with his giving nature. With your help, we can hopefully reduce his financial stresses, continue to uplift his spirits, and eventually share in the joy of successfully curing his cancer.

Kyle is strong and will continue to fight this battle! Your donations will go a long way in helping him and his family. Please share this message with any others that might wish to show their love and support for such a special person.

Many Thanks for your time, thoughts, prayers and contributions!
