My personal Ride for Roswell Park

Every year the Buffalo Fire Dept participates in the Ride for Roswell and I am inevitably out of town... Cancer hits all Firefighters close to home as we have all lost family and friends to this deadly disease.
It has hit me personally by taking both of my grandparents Richard and Doris Carpenter.
Roswell Park Cancer Institute has been a godsend to our Dept and helped many of our members fight and beat this disease, like Ken Sikora, Billy LaRusch, Larry Dahn to name a few. And extended the life and improved the quality of that remaining of those who have lost their battle such as Tom Gullo, Charlie Pitz, Homer Lewis, Walter Majtyka, Magilla Schaus and so many others...
On June 18th I am embarking on a personal journey that will take me from Buffalo to Saratoga Springs and then on to the Atlantic Ocean and the State of Maine... I will cover over 500 miles... Alone on my bicycle. I can't think of a better way to cap off my journey than to finally be able to "Ride for Roswell"....
Every dollar donated will be going directly to Roswell, not a cent will be used to defer any costs of this trip. Please help me help us...
