2020 strikes again...

Trying to figure out where to start, but here goes.  I'll copy and paste what I posted on FB earlier when we got the news and I was barely able to keep from breaking down:

My husband, daughter and I moved up here for a job that was offered to my husband and he was unaware the company was in process of a buyout. The new management did not want to payout the promised bonuses and so let go anyone new with the claim of insufficient production. He found a new job fast, but it was at half the pay rate he'd had, making us no longer able to afford the home we'd found to rent up here. Due to it being a month to month lease and the moratorium on evictions being lifted, we were told we no longer qualified and that we had until the 31st to vacate. We tried to find a new place and then his new job let him go to move back to a remote setup due to the increased covid lockdowns. We had found what we thought would be a fine place at a lower rate, but they checked the income verification right after he was let go due to having still been only a temp to hire with the company that went remote. Now is the time I add in the kicker: I'm [disabled but due to my age, they did not want to 'qualify' me for disability payments. My daughter is a type1 diabetic with extreme behavioral complications that require me to care for her fulltime anyways, so my husband has been our only income for years now.  My father-in-law is unable to cosign for us due to his own situation and is our only family up here. So now we're down to 2 weeks to be out and gone with what seems to be our only option being packing up to move back to KY and taking what we can in a trailer  behind our cars. I -being ever graceful with my mobility issues- managed to fall and twist my ankle enough  I'm in an immobilizer ankle cast because the walkway off the back porch is only a foot, foot and a half wide, so my foot hit halfway and rolled and I went down hard. Essentially now, I am useful and we need help. Packing, moving stuff..I don't even know. This snowstorm..I'm from the deep south, I've never seen a 'nor'easter' until now  and have no idea how us vacating in time is even possible. At wits end here and too broke to hire help. We haven't even been able to put up a Christmas tree this year because we knew we knew were having to move. We need  some kind of a Christmas miracle here.
