Christmas Miracles

Hello all, I am a Senior attending the University of Central Arkansas. This is probably the longest that I’ve been away from my family and it only gets tough around the holidays. I’m still learning how to support myself and keep a steady job but transportation has become another bill because I don’t have a car or driver’s license. I finished strong this semester with a 3.4 GPA and since I have some free time before the new semester starts I wanted to find work. I have successfully obtained a job interview that is in 2 weeks for a place that is 3 miles away from my home. I don’t have any of the necessary weather clothing to prepare myself for the walk that I will be taking until I receive my second paycheck and begin to pay for transportation services. This would be either an Uber or cab because the small city of Conway doesn’t have busses. I am up to my neck in credit card debt and my phone has been out of service for so long that they are about to discontinue my number as a whole. I have been unable to purchase food for myself but I have been grateful to the wonderful people in my life who have provided me with items here and there that I have been able to stretch into weekly meals. So the reason that I am reaching out into the public is because I don’t have a phone to communicate with a job. I don’t have money for food and I don’t have any way to pay my bills. I am a struggling college student and I don’t know where else to turn at this point. I need help. I will be eternally grateful to anyone who shares even $5, I know Christmas is right around the corner. I’d just like to be able to get my life on track so that I can focus on school next semester without debt hanging over my head and in knowing I have a steady income.
