Was shot in the head and left for dead due to domestic violence I was kidnapped, shot with a 45 caliber and left for dead. I woke up from my coma 3 weeks later with half my skull removed, due to my brain swelling up and half my face paralyzed. I still have to have several more surgeries, including a reconstruction surgery to put the plate back in my head because my brain is exposed I am experiencing seizures due ito my injury. I have to wear a helmet to prevent me from hitting my head. Any further damage would put me at more risk or at worse dead . On top of having to relearn how to walk and speak again.Etc. I’m trying to stay strong for my babies I have surgeries rehabilitation and more I have to put on a brave face for them I’m all they have even through the pain agony and losing hope I try as much as I can to push my limits my babies are the reason I was able to fight and survive it’s been hard financially and on top of all I’m going threw the coronavirus is going on it is is making it difficult to find help if any or resources I can. I can’t work and I still have medical bills; house bills at home for my family and me , I have to pay for diapers wipes and more then on top of that the only transportation i would’ve been able to use don’t work so I have to figure out transportation to a lot of appointments and things which idk how being I’m from across the country so I don’t know my area well or anyone so if you can -help a young mom /victim and her family it would be a blessing if not please share or just even say a prayer for me and my family to stay strong for my babies #MELODYSTRONG thank you.
