June 6, 2016, 12-year old Jacob was stabbed in the back, shoulder and arm by a woman who walked into the Wells Fargo bank demanding money from customers on East 14th Street around 11:30 am who has now been areested and charged for attempted murder. Jacob was in San Leandro visiting his grandmother for the summer and was patiently waiting for his grandmother to complete her banking transaction when he was assaulted from behind. He was rushed to Children's Hospital where he had to undergo surgery for his stab wounds. Funds will be released to this family to help recover from this tragedy as there will be many legal, medical expenses and future treatment for the unfortunate trauma this young boy experienced.
