Help J&J Get Back on Their Feet

Donation protected
It’s with a very heavy heart that we learned Johnny McKie and his sister Joanne’s house caught fire around 9pm on Tuesday December 15th. Fire crews arrived shortly and extracted one occupant Johnny. Joanne, who is Johnny sister was so fortunate to have had a neighbour enter the burning building and help him according to OFS. “ From Globalnews.ca” Thank you to the neighbour who risked his/her own life to help save someone else’s. We will be forever grateful for this selfless action. The latest news that I have heard was from Johnny at 845am. He is currently at the Ottawa General Hospital, and there is thought of sending his sister to Toronto. They are equipped to deal with burns, specifically. This GoFundMe page is to help Johnny, and his sister Joanne get back on their feet through this difficult time. Johnny is like a father to us at the Barley Mow in Barrhaven. Johnny has a heart of gold, and we want to come together as a community to help him and his sister Joanne through this time. We want to thank everyone for their donations. No donation is too small. Merry Christmas from the staff of The Barley Mow in Barrhaven
