Help Tori

Hi, everyone I’m fundraising for my daughter Tori. Tori has Hypokalemic Periodic Paralysis and Myotonia Congenita. Back in March she was laid off from her job as a Shift Manager at the Blue Ribbon Grille in Tucker, Ga. At first she was receiving unemployment. In May she entered her PIN incorrectly on the unemployment website. She hasn’t been able to collect unemployment since then. We’ve contacted our state legislators, news stations and the governor’s office as well as trying to get help from the unemployed office (the unemployment office doesn’t answer the phone). No one has helped her to date. They say they will pass her information along but nothing happens. Due to her health problems she can’t return to the workforce until the COVID crisis ends. As a result of the stress of the situation her underlying health conditions have required hospitalization more than twenty times since May. My husband and I have been helping her with her living expenses. Her medical bills are growing and growing and we haven’t been able to get anyone to help her get her unemployed restarted. We are very private people and we normally wouldn’t ask publicly for help. This is a desperate plea for help. I’m watching my daughter deteriorate and I feel helpless to help her. She’s losing weight and she’s become depressed and afraid of her next episode and hospitalization. Please help her if you can. We understand that there are many people who are in desperate circumstances just like this and that they may need your help so we understand if you can’t help Tori.
