Funeral Expenses.

It is with a heavy heart that I am writing this. Tonight my sister Jessica came home from a short errand, to find her husband Steven had passed away suddenly while she was out. There was no warning. There was no sickness that she was aware of. He was just no longer there. 

This year has been a particularly rough year for Jessica, Steve and their boys. On October 26th 2020, just 31 short days before, Steve's mother passed away, and just last week Steve's Aunt passed away as well.  Due to the current Covid19 situation work has been slow for Jessica and Steve and they were already in dire financial straits. They had to use all of their savings to keep their ship afloat.  With Steve’s passing it has now left Jessica, a widow with 2 teenage boys.   She will now have to shoulder funeral expenses as well a household that was already sinking, on her own with very little income. 

Steve opened his heart to Jessica, Jason and Justin and helped raise Jessica’s boys as if they were his own. He gave them guidance,as well as financial support where their own father didn’t even know if they had food to eat or a bed to sleep in.

Jessica and their boys are facing a difficult road ahead.  I typically wouldn't ask for financial help, however, we are all financially in a bind with all that has been and is continuing to go on this year. During this very sleepless night, I decided to set up this GoFundMe to help my sister.  All that is collected will go toward the cost of the high funeral costs which were totally not prepared for, as well as keeping a roof over their heads and food on the kids plates. Any help that is given Is very appreciated. Thank you all for the help.
