Jumanji needs mammary surgery
Donation protected
Hi everyone, my name is Jumanji. I'm a 10 year old rescued pit bull. I was diagnosed with mammary cancer two years ago. I had a large mass that needed to be removed. My mother worked long hours while she was in school and was able to get my surgery done. I got better and was happy!!
Now, two years later, two large masses have come up out of the blue. And not only did the masses come up, they are now in my inguinal area which is causing my lymphatics to be blocked. Because they are blocked I now have pitting edema also.
My mother is currently in graduate school and is unable to work this time, per the terms of her fellowship. She is also a veteran and is trying to put aside any money that she can from that to help me get this surgery. My mother really loves me and is attempting to exhaust her savings in order to help me. But, I know she can't do it by herself. As much as she hates asking, she needs help.
Not only am I her daughter, but I'm also her emotional support animal. My mother rescued me when I was young and has loved me ever since. She wants to grant me the best quality of life that she can in my golden years. I'm very loved and she wants to continue to love me for many years to come. I was there for her when her father passed away last year and mama wants to be there for me.
Can you help her to help me? It would mean the world to her and to me. Please help her. This cancer could affect anyone, even your babies! If I wasn't eating and drinking and being myself otherwise, my mother would have done the humane route and made sure that I didn't suffer.
The ER vet she took me to told her that my lungs and heart sound clear and they don't believe the cancer has spread. But they really want to have these masses removed.
Please help her. My mother loves me dearly and only wants to see me continue to live out a happy life and to continue snuggling her on the couch while sneaking bites of her food.
Thank you.
