To the incredible staff at Ysbyty Cwm Cynon W6

We would like to give people the opportunity alongside us to show our respects to the incredible team on ward 6 Palliative Care at Ysbyty Cwm Cynon. 

On the evening of November 16th, our dad was very poorly and lost his life to Liver disease . Sadly due to government guidelines we couldn't spend those last two weeks with  him, but as a family we cannot fault the dedication from all the staff on ward 6 who became his family whilst we couldn't be and treated him like a king. Sat with him, nurtured him and reassured him when we couldn't. They were his comfort at his most time of need and ours to. From early hour and daily phonecalls, to reassurance and empathy. 

They gave us privacy, dignity and support whilst we had the pleasure of being with him in his final moments alongside our mother. 

We feel as a family, we think they deserve a huge thank you for everything they do for all patients on their ward.
