Cy's Christmas wish for a more mobile life.

My son Cilas is wheelchair bound. He has hit a major growth spurt recently and his wheel chair does not fit him well anymore. Also his wheelchair is extremely heavy and nearly impossible for me and his mother to load in and out of the car. His insurance will not cover a new wheel chair for 3 more years. We've contacted many local medical donation companies to try and find a piece of equipment that not only fits him but also fits us with no luck. We are wanting to get him a special tomato stroller for Christmas but they are extremely expensive. He is to big for traditional strollers at this point and really needs a high weight capacity chair. Most traditional wheel chairs do not have the ability to recline or safety harnesses and these features are all necessary to keep Cilas safe especially during seizures. His favorite activity is going on walks with his family and it's trúly becoming very difficult for us to take him on his walks. For Christmas Cilas would really love a more portable life. Anything will help.
