Nearpod Plan and Quizizz.com for a Teacher

As a teacher in an Urban district with limited resources during the pandemic, I have discovered 2 new tools to help teach hybrid/remote learners.

The first one is Nearpod.  Nearpod allows me to make presentations interactive and provide various means of engagement to students via the computer.  I can conduct polls, small assessments, and collaborative boards.  The most powerful tool is that I can have the students "draw it" as they complete a math problem on their own slide and can watch their "papers" and provide feedback in real time.  Unfortunately, I am running out of Nearpod "space" as I currently only have the free plan.

Furthermore, I used to have Google form style quiz once a week.  I have discovered that I can use quizizz.com to make the quizzes more "gamified" and more engaging to the students.  It also links directly to Google classroom and auto corrects and I can provide feedback also.  Unfortunately to use all the features I need I need to pay 5 dollars a month.
