Top Surgery and Hormone Therapy Fund

Hey guys, my name is Ethan Jace .L, I'm no longer 17 years old, pff I'm now 20, so it's been a good 3 years since I last edited this and as you've probably figured, I'm out as ftm (female to male) transgender. Dysphoria is something that has been beating me down for a long while now, and of course, my binder helps, but only for so long. 

Binders cause me issues as I'm a singer, and I'm someone that used to compete athletically, but because of dysphoria, I stopped, and everyone knows doing sports in a binder is dangerous. Binders make me struggle with breathing correctly for sports and singing, which as you can imagine, is an issue.

This fund is so aim towards me being able to afford hormone therapy and top surgery from a surgeon I trust over in Lyon. Between me hitting 18, going to get an apartment, with music school and so on, top surgery feels like it's completely out of reach from me.

Also, let me let you in on my particularly ambitious dream: I want to be an successful and openly ftm singer/musician. Spreading awareness about the situation, showing transgender kids that they aren't alone.

Hence why I was talking about music school. I was never classically trained. I'm mainly self taught, but all my life I've been working for this. But I know that feeling foreign in my own body will only stop me in my tracks. With testosterone and surgery, I won't have the voice in my mind telling me that my voice needs to be lower. That dysphoria won't be in the back of my mind telling me i need to hide myself away anymore.

It's a big dream, I'm aware. But I know this is what I'm meant to do. 

I hesitated for weeks about this, asking makes me feel so incredibly selfish. Which is why I'm promising to give it my all to give back by working my ass off towards helping trans youth.
