The children we are excited to be able to help all live in Bab al-Hawa camp. A simple school structure has recently been erected; desks have been donated and there are volunteer teachers who are eager and happy to teach. However, the children have no books or educational materials or even paper and pens. We're all going to change that!
Show your love and support and honor Melissa Nozell as she turns 25 by sponsoring books and educational materials for Syrian children at a school in the new Bab al-Hawa camp in Idlib province (northwest Syria). Whether it's in lieu of a gift for Melissa's birthday or because you care about the children of war-torn Syria, please consider giving. With everyone's amazing generosity, we will provide the materials that the school needs to educate the children, as well as some snacks to nourish their tummies for a few weeks at school at least. Note that even if you are not living in the U.S. you can still donate by credit card. 100% of the money raised will be going to buy the educational materials and snacks for the Syrian children living in Bab al-Hawa. It realistically takes one to two weeks after all funds have been collected for the goods to reach the camp. We will be sure to keep you updated so you can see exactly where and how your kind donations have helped Syrian children.
