Determined to Heal

Hi, my name is Michael Sheehan and I am asking for support in a battle to heal from Laryngeal Cancer.
This condition and writing to "Go Fund Me" are two things I never imagigined myself doing. Life sometimes offers these challenges and now I must do all I can to ask for and allow the help I need into my life. I feel awkward asking, but I now realize that it is a way to get the help I need.
 I had a tracheostomy performed on August 2013 to alleviate the effects of cancerous growths on my vocal cords and to ease breathing.  Following this , the only  option I was given was having my larnyx completely removed , along with radiation and chemotherapy.  This process also involves a high probability of facial and neck disfigurement that might also be accompanied by other complications in the future. At this prospect I felt completely overwhelmed and made a decision to find another way to fight this battle.
I have made drastic changes in my diet , have embraced energy work and Reiki,  along with visualization , meditation, Acupuncture, Chiropractic, herbs ,vitamins and also much of the "Budwig Protocol" ( a high protein /Flaxoil ) regimin. Curretly I have included high dose  Intravenous Vitamin C therapy administered at a local clinic and the use of Ozone therapy. I continue to visit my ENT Physician on a regular basis every few months . On my last visit in June of this year, my Doctor shared that he was very impressed at the overall state of my health and strength and it appeared that the growths had remained localized and stable.  This has further inspired me to continue my focus on my program of healing.
I am more determined than ever and await the day that I can speak and sing with my friends and family and swim in the ocean and return to feeling comfortable in my work with others.

I retired earlier than I wished and remain on a fixed income . As you might imagine, Medicare or Insurance does not cover these modalities.  I am determined to continue this program,and at this point I realize I need financial help in order to accelerate my program.
