Total hip replacement surgery for Midnight

This is Midnight she is approximately 11 months old. We got her rescued last August when she was brought into the shelter as a stray. She was microchipped and spayed and then we got her. Shortly after, she developed an upper respiratory infection. She’s been through a lot. She just recovered from those painful needles and abandonment and is now being hit by another obstacle. It’s been 3 and half weeks since she started limping and progressively her back legs are becoming more weak and painful. She was diagnosed having bilateral hip dysplasia. It hurts to see your pup crying in pain and you can’t do anything but comfort her . She used to be excited for a walk. You can see in her face the happiness she feels when she’s running while looking at the sky and trees. She likes chasing squirrels and butterflies. She’s thrilled playing with the dried leaves whenever it is blown by the wind. She likes playing with dogs and cats. She is friendly to everyone. She also likes human cuddles. She just appreciates everything at home and whenever we take her out. She tries to live a happy life as best as she can. She developed osteoarthritis despite of her young age as a complication. It is devastating to imagine that things won’t be the way same since this happened to her. ☹️ Pain medication doesn’t really help her. She is an active dog. Total hip replacement surgery is the only answer to make her pain free so she can run and play and be free again. Doc says it will cost around $11,000-15,000 for replacement of her hips. We are buying time right now by doing conservative treatments for her and I hope she can wait until we can produce the needed amount for her surgery. That’s why we came to the idea of funding for her so we can make her surgery happen as soon as possible. We hate the idea of putting her to sleep if this gets worse, but it’s more painful to see her struggling to get up every day. We will be forever grateful, for any form of help or at least by sharing this to your friends. Midnight appreciates all kinds of support from you.
