Help Lilly Get Surgery

Hey everyone, So, we’ve had a heartbreaking situation occur within our fur family. Yesterday, on Lilly and I’d birthday, in some freak accident Charlie caused Lilly to break the left side of her jaw and cheekbone. We have never had to worry about Lilly and Charlie together. Charlie is a 2 year old 110 pound Doberman/Lab mix, and Lilly is a 4 year old 8 pound Yorkie. They are brother and sister and have lived together their whole lives. I found Lilly under the bed bleeding from her nose when she failed to make an appearance when I was offering the dogs some banana. We rushed to the vet to discover her fractures. The vet recommended surgery costing around $3000 but there was an alternative. We could keep her isolated at home restricting movement with a cone and muzzle, while also feeding her a liquid diet and medications through syringes. The latter option is what we chose to do and I drove her to my moms who has a calm relaxing environment for her to recover. Unfortunately this morning she has resorted to refusing to eat or take medication at all without throwing her head around. I am currently on my way to retrieve Lilly to try to do it myself, since she may be more relaxed with me. I just would love to try to get her this surgery. I love this dog and I want the best for her.
