Help Matilda Walk
Donation protected
Matilda was born 24th May 2008 suffering from spina bifida hydrocephalus and other disorders. Her first 12 months was pretty much spent in hospital due to lots of shunt related complications.
she as since started at a special school and is currently a full time wheelchair user I can't accept that she will never walk and no it's not because I don't listen it's because I can't give up hope.
i don't normally ask for any help and have funded other equipment myself as I really don't like asking for help but the footsteps programme in Oxford is Amazing within her 1 hour assessment she was supported in the spider frame and put one step in front of the other on the treadmill. It's £1500 for a 3 week course and really we need to aim at 4 times a year so that's £6000 a year I need so please if u can help every penny matters.
I am not planning on sitting back and expecting other people to do this for me I will be doing anything possible to raise money.
You can follow her story fully on a Facebook page I've set up called Help Matilda Walk
We will be holding auctions, sales and more to raise as much as possible,
You truly can't understand how much this will mean to me to be able to get her and prove to everyone it can walk.
Thank you so much in advance.
