Duke needs a new knee....again

Hi everyone! My name is Duke and I just turned 11 years old!! My mommy has had me since I was a puppy and we have been best friends ever since. I’m a little bit chunky, which is bad for my knees and have been on a diet trying to lose weight but it’s taking time. I just had my right ACL repaired this past spring. I’ve been feeling great!! But...I forget that I’m 11 sometimes. I tried to jump on my mom’s lap last week and twisted my knee, but I walked it off. Then my friend came over and I got so excited that I ran for my toy and slipped on the hardwood floors....and then it happened. I twisted my knee again....I yelped in pain and have been limping for 2 days since it happened. I’m going to need surgery again....on my left knee this time. I know my mommy will do whatever she has to do to help me and that I will be ok; but I know that COVID has affected her employment and she has had her finances spread pretty thin this year so I’m asking for everyone’s help to raise enough money to have this done ASAP. The longer I wait, the higher the chances of me messing up BOTH knees and needing a lot more invasive procedure. I hate to ask again but I’m a dog and I can’t get a job to help afford this. Please help any way you’re able to, every little bit helps so much and I’m so grateful that my mom is able to type this for me and that she will be there for me in my recovery, yet again.
