Adam Kicks Cancer

This is Adam Walker and he and his family are amazing in so many countless ways. They have already endured so much but have handled it with strength and grace. He and his wife of 18 years, Amber have a daughter Payton who has Cystic Fibrosis and has been in out of the hospital for 13 years. But she’s a warrior! Amber has had the recent diagnosis of Lupus but has struggled with the symptoms for years. These alone have been debilitating and difficult but they always fight! Now they are continuing their fight as Adam has received the rare diagnosis of 3rd stage Melanoma. This was shocking in more ways than one as Adam had nothing indicating melanoma on his skin anywhere. Adam is a wonderful father to 4: two adult children: Avery and Max. And Payton: 14 and Ace: 7. He’s Papa to little Sloane: 3 (Avery’s daughter). Adam is a loving husband, friend and all around extraordinary human being. Adam, Amber, Payton and Ace live in Hawaii but will be leaving for the mainland for an unknown amount of time for Adam to receive treatment. They moved to Hawaii 6 years ago for Payton as that environment helps her breathe and thrive. The time spent on the mainland will cause Adam and Amber to give up their jobs. They have to leave their home, friends and livelihood but will do everything possible to kick cancer’s butt!! The weight of this diagnosis and financial stress is overwhelming.
