Terrebonne Parish Hurricane Ida Relief

My name is Erin Glomset. I am a resident of Oklahoma City as of recent, but I am Born and raised and spent 25 of my years in the wonderful small towns of Bourg and Houma, Louisiana, (which reside in Terrebonne Parish). My sweet hometown and neighboring bayou region towns were absolutely devastated with direct impact by Hurricane Ida. Many people are without homes, without electricity for an estimated 6 weeks, without running water, without gas, without necessary supplies that they need in order to start their salvaging and restorative process. I have contacted my family and friends back home, and we have compiled a list of items that are in desperate need to all of the people there. It was clear that what they needed was supplies and they need it to get to them! That is what we will do! We have set up drop off locations for those supplies around Oklahoma City. With that, I have created this gofundme for those that this route is easier for you to help! Every single dollar is helpful. No amount is too small.

This fundraiser was created for our friends and people of Oklahoma and for anyone whom this platform reaches to have a place to donate to a charity you can trust. The proceeds of this fundraiser you can ensure will go directly into the communities in most dire need. All proceeds will be utilized to support the great people in our small towns of Terrebonne Parish. These directly impacted towns do not get nearly the news coverage that our Big sister city of New Orleans receives. Our friends and family here are in desperate need for support and to not be forgotten, and they deserve the same compassion and assistance.
