Life Changing Opportunity

Hello Family and Friends,

Thank you for taking the time to read my letter about a once in a lifetime opportunity. I would be so grateful if you are able to help in any way.

My school has offered to send me to Europe for 20 days to tour Greece, France and Italy. People to People has chosen me to take part on this trip because of my outstanding scores on the California State Testing.

I know this trip will change my life for the better and I will get to see other parts of the world at such a young age. I am very excited and fortunate to have the opportunity to partake on this marvelous trip. I will have a chance to see where history took place, outside of the books and to learn about other cultures.

I get good grades and I also tutor 1st and 2^nd graders once a week. I would love to tell them about my trip and how I was given this chance because of my grades and hopefully inspire them to try harder.

I have a very strong, loving, and supportive family. I know that they will and always have been there for me. Unfortunately, this trip does not come free and the school does require my Mom and Dad to pay quite a bit of money in order to make this happen for me. I applied for a scholarship to help pay for a portion of the trip but they can only help a certain amount of applicants and I did not get chosen. I am asking for your help in making a donation to help this dream come true.

If this becomes a reality I look forward to sharing my trip through pictures with all of you. Thank you for your time and consideration.
