Dream Chaser Program Start-up Fund

The Dream Chaser Program is a program we are planning on Launching in the fall of 2021. The mission of this program is to help diversify the ballet world. The Ballet world is filled with systemic racism causing it to to be very hard for black dancers to thrive. With our recent study we found that 57% of our dancers only had 1-5 other black ballerinas in their dance classes. With the average number of ballet classes having 30 dancers we can see how this is a huge problem. 57% of our dancers also struggled financially in college. With this program we plan to give these dancers a stronger sense of community and financial help with dance and heath care suppies while in higher education.
