Heart Surgery for Keith Martens

Monday, 11/02, Keith took himself to the hospital not knowing he wouldn’t be coming back home to us until after another emergency heart surgery. Keith underwent his second heart valve surgery 15yrs ago and his valve has now been found to have been growing an infection for at least the past 6 months. Anyone who knows my husband knows him as a fierce Godly man who never stops working, loves his family, and cares for everyone above himself. I never thought myself to be in a position to set up an account like this, but the hospital bills that will be adding up quickly as well as the other financial hardships this will cause is going to be very difficult to manage without support from those who love him and us. As of now, his third open heart surgery will be Monday 11/09. He and I are so appreciative for the support and love we’ve been shown. With the hospital visiting so restricted, he’s only allowed 1 visitor a day for a certain time frame. Keith and I have 5 kids including twins who’s birthday is 11/04 so we’ll be celebrating their birthday the right way when he comes home. Thank you for the love and support we’ve been shown and continue to be shown.
