Venasi's Funeral Costs

On October 31st, 2020, we lost our beloved brother Venasi to a senseless act of gun violence in Sioux Falls, SD. He was a wonderful son, brother, friend, team mate, and a student who touched many lives around him. He leaves behind his father Martin, mother Mwaliasha, two brother’s Oredi, and Dunia, and three sister’s Christina, Esther, and Ohangya. Venasi was a senior at Lincoln High School (Class of 2021), where he was known for being an outstanding soccer player. He also played for the African Lions, outside of school as well. Soccer was one of his greatest passion in life, amongst impacting lives. Venasi was a team player! He was only 18 years old when he passed away. We will truly miss his beautiful smile, his words of encouragement, his kind soul, his beautiful vibes, and the way he used to make people feel. Venasi was a very rare and one of a kind. We are very devastated by the loss of Venasi and did not prepare to lose him so young, with the high cost that comes with funerals. We want to give Venasi the memorial service that he deserves, to honor Venasi’s memory and say our last goodbyes. I am currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Venasi’s funeral.
