Help Erik Fight Cancer

Hi Everyone, Erik Jurek found out on August 31, 2020 that he has Stage 3 Testicular Cancer. It has spread to his stomach and back. With aggressive chemotherapy, however, the prognosis looks good, but he needs help. Erik has been a dear friend to my brother and I since the 3rd grade. At the young age of 46, this news was especially horrifying. As a result, he has lost his job and insurance is only covering a minimal amount of his chemotherapy and meds. Due to his financial situation, Erik lives with 7 other people and certainly not ideal as his immune system is severely compromised which puts him at a daily risk of infection that can end his life. And, at 46, he has already lost all his teeth due to the chemo and unable to get dental care. Can you please help Erik pay some of his medical bills, medications, and dental care? Clearly, with non-supportive healthcare, the costs for treatment for this horrible disease is unimaginably high as the weeks and months pass by and difficult to predict. Stress can cause a multitude of symptoms; but with stage 3 cancer, it’s a double-negative. Assistance in helping pay his bills would definitely help Erik relieve this stress and give a chance to focus more on getting better. Please help! Your generosity is priceless.
