Fund composer to create a new solo cello piece;

Greetings to all of my musical and especially cello friends including those who may have participated in the Baltimore Symphony’s Academy Week and The Bach Cello Suites Workshop in Albany as well as the Susquehanna Symphony, the Bach Choir of Bethlehem, Pa., and the Baltimore Bach Concert series and the Washington Bach Consort. I am trying to assemble $5000 to help commission a solo cello work on behalf of my cello teacher, who is known to many of you. With the virus shutting down concerts our professional musicians are living on severely reduced financial circumstances and can’t afford to extend their repertoire without help. If any of you could make a contribution to this project I will personally make sure there is acknowledgment at any premiere and I am also happy to discuss the project on the phone or in text;
