Help Brutus walk again

This is my dog Brutus, he's my emotional support dog and the best friend to my family. He is 3 years old and a black lab mix. About 2 months ago, we took Brutus to the vet due to some mild limping. She diagnosed him with severe hip dyaplasia. Last week I took him to get a second opinion, the vet found out that he has a torn acl and a torn meniscus and it's going to take surgery to fix him. The surgery cost is $5,400. My husband and I don't have nearly enough saved to afford the surgery and if he doesn't get it the vet says his other leg will get torn too and he will become immobile. I didn't know what else to do so I'm turning to this to see how many kind hearted people would be willing to help my family out. Please and thank you so much.
